Our School

Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men is a single-gender, all-boys campus serving students grades 6th though 12th. Our mission is to develop honorable, respectful, and intelligent young men to think critically, solve complex problems, and lead with purpose. Through a rigorous Pre-Advanced Placement and Advanced Placement academic program, we foster academic excellence in a supportive, boy-friendly learning environment.

We guide ourselves by the core values of being honorable, respectful, intelligent, neighborly, helpful, resourceful, healthy, and faithful—principles that shape the character and leadership of every young man on our campus.
